Amplexor launched the annual careers roadshow in Belgium with a workshop at Hogeschool Gent. Through the first semester of 2018, our recruitment team will make presence at job fairs and company presentations in universities and colleges across the country. Attracting young talent in technology areas is a top priority in our continuous growth strategy and the Human Resources department aims to get in contact with a pool of qualified candidates for several open entry-level positions at the Leuven and Ghent offices.
Meeting and interacting with potential candidates face to face is still a critical part of the recruitment process. For Isaura Volders, Talent Development Manager at Amplexor, job fairs offer a unique opportunity to screen a large number of applicants who are interested in working for Amplexor. The short and informal interviews allow recruiters to pick out the best personalities quickly, determine what their needs are and if they're going to be a good fit for the team. “We are looking to provide an authentic account of what our work culture is like, identify profiles that match our open roles and who are compatible with the company in the long-run”, explains Isaura.
Amplexor’s recruiters’ team plans to visit 10 universities and colleges in Belgium, reaching over 500 undergraduate and graduate students who are expected to attend the events.
