Amplexor and Microsoft teamed up this last 20 June, in Brussels, Belgium, to host a networking lunch themed around Next Generation Intranets: Shaping the modern workplace with Office 365 and Valo.
The event brought together professionals from marketing, internal communications, HR and IT looking to explore the value of technologies such as Office 365, SharePoint and Valo. Through hands-on demos and real stories, attendees got inspiration and tools to improve team collaboration and bring the best workplace experience back to their organizations.
The welcome reception and networking lunch started this event, giving the motto for a sharing environment that would continue throughout the session.
Amplexor experts Tom Laureys, Solution Manager ECM, and Alexander Ernon, ECM Business Consultant, started the presentations with a guide on building your Intranet on Office 365. Covering all options from SharePoint Modern Experience to Intranets-in-a-Box, attendees learned the pros and cons of each as well as the advantages of going for a ready-to-go solution. The final demo demonstrated all the capabilities of Valo and the added-value it brings on top of Office 365.
“Kicking off your next generation intranet project”: Practical guidelines to ensure success”, offered guidance and best practices on how to implement a new corporate intranet, from the perspective of Guy van Leemput, intranet consultant and founder of ValueIntranet.
The last talk of the day was focused on improving intranet user adoption. According to Amplexor’s ECS Consultant & Team Coach, Tom Vandersmissen, combining an Office 365 intranet with Office 365 Teams provides the perfect foundation for a modern digital workplace. For this certified PROSCI change manager, one of the secret recipes to ensure buy-in across the organization is using the intranet as the Office 365 “sugarcoat”. It’s in fact a key component of successful change management and user adoption strategies when it comes to promoting new ways of working.
This seminar wrapped up with a Q&A, where attendees had the opportunity to inquire the speakers about the subjects previously discussed and get inputs to their ongoing intranet projects or future initiatives.
