Amplexor’s Human Resources and Employer Branding expert, Dace Skujiņa-Reķe, visited Lund University today to talk about the how the translation market works to a group of Master degree students.
The attendees got to know the recent market trends in the translation and localization industry, what it takes to become a successful professional in the business and were informed about the career opportunities at Amplexor.
Our HR Business Partner also presented Amplexor's mission as a leading digital solutions provider offering global compliance, digital experience and content solutions, with a strong focus on our extensive portfolio of translation and localization capabilities in over 500 language combinations:
- Translation services - By understanding the expectations of our clients' target audiences, we ensure a more focused and consistent translation, leading to high-level linguistic and domain quality.
- Localization services - In order to reach global audiences in highly competitive local markets, we help clients to efficiently localize their content.
- Website globalization - From defining a strategy to creating and managing clients' daily content, we ensure that our clients' websites carry the most accurate and effective message to each target market.
The feedback from students in the audience was very positive as they felt more confident about facing the job market after finishing their studies, through a valuable set of knowledge and tools not just about how the industry and companies work, but also about how they can better prepare themselves in terms of qualifications and skills to fit the demands and expectations of employers in the business.
Earlier last year, Amplexor was ranked the 9th largest language services provider (LSP) in the world by the independent market research firm Common Sense Advisory (CSA Research). In January, one of our expert's articles was also selected for The Globalization and Localization Association (GALA)’s Best of 2016: Top Localization and Translation Content.
