Last 6 June, Amplexor and Adobe launched the AEM User Group in Germany with the first AEM Meetup event in Hamburg. A group of content managers, developers, webmasters and decision makers working with or interested in the Adobe Marketing Cloud got to interact with the local user community, discuss challenges and share experiences.
The evening kicked-off with a case study presentation of an AEM project for a large financial services provider. Through practical examples, participants got to know a real digital experience transformation story powered by Adobe technologies.
To inspire the audience, next on the agenda was a tour through the unique venue – the Millerntor Stadium, FC St. Pauli’s home venue. The group explored all the top spots and stories of this +29,500-seat stadium, including VIP areas, dressing rooms and the stands.
Between refreshments and networking drinks, Amplexor guided participants through an exciting showcase on the potentialities of integrating Augmented Reality (AR) into Adobe Experience Manager in the manufacturing industry. The session started with a practical walk through the content, technology and resources that are essential to setup a digital platform with AR. Then, our team explored the challenges and benefits of automating the management and delivery of personalized content in after sales support and technical documentation.
The evening closed with a summary of all the recent updates on AEM 6.4, including the new features for dynamic media, fluid experiences and advanced artificial intelligence. This topic was also a conversation trigger on the latest development best practices using the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of tools.
The gathering ended with some time for networking, allowing attendees to share their business case and getting feedback from our experts and peers.
