AMPLEXOR CAREER ROADSHOW IN BELGIUM
Amplexor is returning to the annual career roadshow in Belgium. Starting on February 19th, at Groep T College in Leuven, the recruitment team will be scouting universities and colleges, for new talents.
Conveying the company spirit, values and goals, these job fairs allow for an exchange only possible in face to face interactions. “Having the opportunity to meet potential candidates in person is an invaluable opportunity to truly get to know their profiles and find out if we’re a match.” Sofie Vanderstichele, IT Recruiter at Amplexor.
Recently awarded a Great Place to Work as result of the efforts to make Employee Experience a core business focus, Amplexor Belgium is always looking for young talents in technology providing them with career development opportunities and a great atmosphere to work in. A team coach is assigned for each employee to ensure they have support in their projects and career.
One of the recently hired junior DXM consultants, Sasha Van de Voorde, talks about his experience so far “I arrived at Amplexor and immediately our recruitment manager welcomed me with open arms. Every starter was assigned a buddy, who is your primary point of contact for the first weeks. We had dinner to talk about work related and non-work related subjects as well. In my opinion, this is one of the best ways to guide a starter into fitting in the company.”
By attending these job fairs, Amplexor hopes to attract qualified candidates to fill several open IT entry-level positions in the Leuven and Ghent offices.

Experience Amplexor job fair @ Group T
A small sketch of the scenery at the job fair at Group T in 2019: the atmosphere was loaded with pressure to find new colleagues and pushed recruiters to (some unsuspecting) graduating students. A lot of them appeared very determined by attracting new colleagues with all the advantages the IT-branch has to offer: a big name, company car, training budget, etc.
Between all these companies were only a minority of genuine, casual and fun, but nonetheless interesting companies, Amplexor included. The Amplexor recruiters didn’t start with giving me advantages over others, but by asking how my day was, what my impression was of the fair and calmly introducing me to Amplexor. It was a nice, easy-going talk and I didn’t feel pressured as was the case with other IT-companies. In the end, I was asked if it was fine for me to be contacted in the next week. This already showed the good atmosphere at Amplexor, which I still enjoy daily. Amplexor stood out by being itself: the nice-atmosphered, supportive and solution-oriented, young-feeling IT-company!
Experience Amplexor job fair @ UCLL
As a final year student of applied computer science at UCLL, they gave me, together with my fellow students, the assignment of having 2 “training” interviews with the recruiters of the attending companies at the job fair. Amplexor was my first choice from the start, because their work and projects immediately appealed to me. At the beginning of the interview, Sophie and Nick really comforted me, making it a rather nice and easy-going talk. We discussed the usual: we thoroughly went over my competences, I mentioned my experiences abroad and they talked a bit about Amplexor’s “company culture”. Afterwards, I had a feeling that this company would really fit me (which, I can say now, was a correct feeling) and they asked me to pass by their booth at the fair for further details. Here, they showed me growth opportunities in a detailed plan, which not many other companies could provide. At the end, we chatted a bit more, I provided my details and had a go at playing foosball at their booth to win a prize (which I unfortunately didn’t).
