XTM LIVE: THE TRANSLATION TECHNOLOGY POWER SUMMIT EVENT RECAP

The first XTM Live Europe event was held on 1 and 2 March in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a Platinum Sponsor, Amplexor was represented by our experts who delivered an engaging presentation and offered valuable insights into the latest advancements in translation technology. XTM LIVE was an excellent opportunity to connect with localization professionals from international enterprises, learn best practices and share experiences through networking, round-table discussions and workshops.

This year’s event focused on connecting localization experts from several different industries, including retail, gaming, life-science, automotive, marketing and manufacturing. With around 100 people in attendance, day one included TED-talk-style presentations on topics, such as optimization of translation workflows, in-context review and neural machine learning.  Amplexor’s Andreas Ljungström delivered a presentation on mastering in-country review, which was well received by the audience.

Day two of the event focused on training workshops broken out by intermediate and advanced users. The intermediate group focused on getting started with XTM project management and using translation editors, dashboards and reporting tools in XTM. The advanced group focused on system settings, financials, troubleshooting, integrations, SRX/ITS rules and DITA parsing.

Overall, the event was a success. Our Amplexor experts learned from interesting conversations with other attendees, and Andreas Ljungström’s presentation delivered valuable insights that engaged the audience and sparked exciting conversation.
