In a competitive process, Amplexor won six out of eight translation projects for the United Nations (UN). Amplexor will provide written translations to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), including English-French, English-Arabic, English-Russian, English-Chinese, French–English and Spanish-English.
This project will be key to enhance communication, advocacy, marketing, outreach and multilingual efforts undertaken by UNDP – for the transition into a new era of sustainable development.
While the primary service for this contract is written translation, Amplexor was also invited to offer optional language services, including revision, proofreading, editing/copy-editing, transcription, typesetting, layout and translation on an on-call basis.
“The iterated preference of the United Nations for our translation services confirms the proven excellence of our teams and is a strong incentive for our 'quality first' approach”, emphasizes Madalina Gavrila-Milliot, Director Account Management, Amplexor. “We thank everybody involved for their continued dedication and professionalism!”
The long-term agreement started in 2020 and will run for three years. The simplified on-boarding for other UN sister agencies will ease future procurement processes – while allowing Amplexor to provide its solutions to different organisations within the UN system.
