Requirements:

Higher degree in translation or equivalent

Practical experience in using CAT tools (e.g. Trados Studio, Across and Star Transit)

Highly service minded and strong sense of keeping to deadlines

Ideally, 2 years of translating experience into Irish

Advantages

It is advantageous to have any one or more of the following:

• Previous freelance translating experience
• Previous experience in translating EU texts
• Previous experience in revision
• Knowledge of more than one EU source language is an asset
