Amplexor’s subsidiary in Belgium celebrates the holiday season by sponsoring local charity De Wissel’s annual Christmas cultural benefit evening for the second year. The concert will take place on Saturday 9 December from 8 p.m., at the Het Depot concert hall in Leuven, and will feature artists such as the renowned Belgian musician Raymond van het Groenewoud.
In addition to supporting the charity’s events and activities, it’s also the fourth year the team donates to the organization instead of purchasing gifts to employees, customers and partners.
De Wissel is a local non-profit organization established in 1981 that helps youngsters who have a high risk of dropping out of welfare. The organization is divided into four departments, each with its own target group and offers: De Rotonda (1981) in Leuven takes care of 25 girls aged between 14 and 21 years old; De Switch (2009) is situated in Betekom and takes care of 10 girls aged between 14 and 18 years old; Centrum Molenmoes (2010) in Wezenmaal accompanies boys and girls from 12 years old; and De Shelter (2013) a center for integral family care supports 12 young families.
