The future of intranets attracts communication professionals to Leuven
9 April 2018
“Welcome to the world of premium employee experiences and modern collaboration”. This was the motto that attracted a big group of internal communications professionals to discuss the future of intranets, last 29 March in Leuven, Belgium.
The AMPLEXOR lunch & learn on Next generation intranets brought together around 30 participants from communication, digital, IT and HR backgrounds. Looking for the latest trends in employee experience and the right approach to connect with dispersed teams, attendees were keen on grasping useful information to improve communication flow across their respective organizations.
Guest speaker Marc Van de Woestijne, Information Architect and Intranet consultant at User Benefit, opened the session. He showed some eye-opening stats on Office 365 adoption worldwide and followed with practical tips and tools for mapping intranet requirements with the organizations’ goals and digital workplace maturity.
Office 365 being synonymous with collaboration, a practical presentation by Tom Laureys, Solution Manager ECM at AMPLEXOR, took the audience on a journey through all the available options of Office 365 as the basis intranet channels and modern workplaces.
After presenting the diversity of ready-to-go intranet platforms’ landscape, Damien Dewitte, VP Solution Manager for Digital Experience at AMPLEXOR, explored real-world success stories of the most powerful and popular intranet-in-a-box solutions for Office 365 and SharePoint - VALO.
Our experts’ handy intranet solutions comparison chart and checklist for evaluating intranet-in-a-box solutions raised the most questions from the audience. The seminar received excellent feedback from attendees, with some having already booked an individual intranet consultation to assess their particular business cases with our experts.
