Amplexor elected European Partner by Alfresco

The specialist from Leuven is rewarded for its skills

Leuven, 29 February 2008 – Amplexor, which specialises in enterprise content management (ECM), has just been awarded the title of ‘European Partner of the Year’ by Alfresco, the world leader in ECM open source systems. This distinction is in recognition of the efforts made by Amplexor in developing its expertise regarding this ECM open source solution and for its promotion and sale to the public and private sectors.

One of the leading European partners

In early 2006, Amplexor concluded a partnership contract with Alfresco. At that time Amplexor was one of the first partners to include the ECM open source system in its range of products. Amplexor was already offering open source systems, but they targeted only web content management. The Alfresco ECM open source system enabled Amplexor to offer its customers an open source system for document management, e-collaboration, records management, knowledge management, web content and image management.

Recognition of its skills

Since the start of this partnership, Amplexor has made great efforts to enhance its knowledge of Alfresco solutions by following various training courses, ranging from document management to web content management. Alfresco gave this award to Amplexor for the skills it had acquired.

Sales

The Leuven-based company counts amongst its Alfresco customers several well-known public and private organisations. These include the Flemish Community, Vasco Data Security, Govunited Netherlands and Agfa Graphics.

Promotion

In spring 2008, Amplexor will hold another seminar on open source content management on 20 March 2008, starting at 13:30 at the Hotel Pullman at Diegem. One of the main speakers will be John Newton, the co-founder of Alfresco.

Award ceremony

Alfresco will award the title of ‘European Partner of the Year’ to Amplexor during the Alfresco Community Conference, to be held in Barcelona (Spain) on 22 April.
