Over the past four months Amplexor has itself hired 15 ‘young’ employees

Leuven, 27 October 2011 – Content management specialist Amplexor is drawing extra attention to its search for new talent by sponsoring ‘Go for Grandmaster’, a joint initiative by a number of Belgian managers and chess lovers that aims to help talented young Belgians become some of the world’s top chess players. As part of its search for new talent, Amplexor has itself hired 15 new ‘young’ employees over the past four months.

'Venster op Leuven' is a new online searchable database with historic pictures of Leuven. Through the cooperation with different partners (amongst them Amplexor for the technical implementation) and the integration in Erfgoedplus.be this site offers more than 1300 'views on Leuven'. Amplexor uses SDL Tridiion, Alfresco and Seamark for the implementation of 'Venster  op Leuven' en Erfgoedplus.be.

Social Services files at Ghent public social welfare centre and correspondence at the city of Ghent to go digital

Ghent, February 2011 – The Social Services files at the Ghent public social welfare centre (OCMW/CPAS) and correspondence at Ghent city council are set to enter the digital age. ECM specialist Amplexor records 22% growth in 2010

Leuven, 26 January 2011 - With a (non-audited) turnover of € 6,680,000 Amplexor, a specialist in Enterprise Content Management, can look back on a successful 2010, recording a 22% growth from last year.

"For 2010, we had targeted 18% growth. We are very pleased that we have achieved, and even substantially exceeded, this target", says Eric Pieters, CEO of Amplexor. "The 2010 results are comparable to those of 2009. Then, despite the economic crisis, we generated a turnover of € 5,614,000, which signified 23% growth."

Province of Antwerp launches unique website for lost bicycles

More than 2500 recovered bicycles, complete with descriptions and photographs, can be found at www.gevondenfietsen.be. The website provides an easy way for people who have lost their bicycles to check whether they have been found. “Every year, 5% of all families are the victims of bicycle theft. On top of that, the police often recover bicycles whose owners cannot be traced.
