Province of Antwerp launches groundbreaking intranet
Antwerp, 21 September 2010 – The intranet of the Province of Antwerp, which had been in operation for six years and was based on an equally old vision of online internal communication, was in urgent need of a thorough overhaul. The Communications and IT Department of the province of Antwerp therefore decided to join forces with Amplexor and Internet Architects in order to carry out this groundbreaking project.
FPS Employment scoops Best Intranet Award
Leuven, September 2010 – The Belgian Internal Communication Association (Belgische Vereniging voor Interne Communicatie - BVIC) has given its award for the best intranet to the brand new intranet of the Federal Public Service for Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue (FPS Employment). This intranet project was realised in partnership with Amplexor, the content management specialist.
Amplexor launches a collaboration platform for the IBBT with Alfresco Share software

This platform (MyBBT) enables collaboration between project staff from different backgrounds, working in different locations. De Tijd and L’Echo news websites enhance search experience with Microsoft FAST
Leuven, 3 June 2010 – When it comes to high-quality reporting, Belgium’s De Tijd and its French-language counterpart L’Echo are newspapers with excellent reputations. As part of its efforts to enhance quality, Mediafin, the publisher of these newspapers, decided to introduce FAST on its news websites, www.tijd.be and www.lecho.be, making it the first Belgian media company to select this search engine. Leuven, May 2010 - Tessenderlo Group recently launched a brand-new internal website known as The Wire. This internal communication tool allows some 1000 senior and middle managers at the international group to stay in touch with each other. Amplexor, which is now a trusted partner of Tessenderlo, took care of technical implementation, based on Tridion, and completed this in the space of just three months.

Amplexor grows strongly in 2009
Leuven-based ECM specialist sees turnover rise 23% despite the recession, and continues recruiting
Amplexor, which specialises in enterprise content management (ECM), had an outstanding year in 2009. Not only was the Belgian IT company profitable for the fifth year in a row, but in 2009, it also generated turnover of 5,614,000 euro, a rise of 23%. The Leuven-based company emphasises that these are provisional figures, which have not yet been audited. The final figures may differ slightly.
Kurt Vandermaesen, new Account Manager at Amplexor
Prior to joining Amplexor, Kurt Vandermaesen was Business Manager for Aubay, in charge of developing Flemish business and overseeing acquisitions. Today, he is strengthening the sales team at Amplexor, as Account Manager. His mission is to generate sales leads, and to support and advise existing clients. Kurt will report directly to the Sales Manager.
