Amplexor is Liferay Silver Service Partner

Amplexor, which specialises in enterprise content management (ECM) has been appointed a Silver Service Partner by Liferay. Liferay is a leader in portal and collaboration software and offers its platform as commercial open source software.  This means that the source code is available to the customer and the community, but customers are also sure of support and the solution of critical bugs by paying for a support contract.
Market demand for portal solutions has increased strongly in recent times. Organisations are trying to increase their efficiency by giving personnel, customers and partners personalised access to information and applications. In this way, a "self-service" environment is created, which cuts costs.

The Liferay platform is a rich environment that provides simple access to this information and these applications by means of innovative technology and a user-friendly interface. For this purpose, Liferay uses over 60 functional blocks ("portlets") as standard to construct the portal.
