Amplexor becomes the first Belgian Gold Partner of Acquia

Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM), has become Acquia’s first Gold Partner in Belgium. Acquia is a commercial open source software company providing products, services and technical support for Drupal software. The company was founded by Dries Buytaert, who is also the creator of the Drupal project. Drupal is an open source software platform enabling users to build a multitude of websites and web applications, among them sophisticated corporate and community websites, intranets, e-commerce applications, blogs, wikis and social networking sites.

Clients of Amplexor can now make use of the broad range of services already offered by Acquia to Drupal users. Any client that wants to do so can thus have a free standard version of Drupal, including all the core modules. Acquia will be in charge of the monitoring and additional support provided for the Drupal platform, for example offering anti-spam software, a dynamic search engine, statistics, software updates, technical support, professional services, etc.
