Leuven, 2 March 2010 – Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM) and web content management (WCM), last year completed a number of key Internet projects, calling on Drupal open source software. The Leuven-based firm has seen growing interest in Drupal solutions – among businesses and authorities.
Amplexor grows strongly in 2009
Leuven-based ECM specialist sees turnover rise 23% despite the recession, and continues recruiting
Amplexor, which specialises in enterprise content management (ECM), had an outstanding year in 2009. Not only was the Belgian IT company profitable for the fifth year in a row, but in 2009, it also generated turnover of 5,614,000 euro, a rise of 23%. The Leuven-based company emphasises that these are provisional figures, which have not yet been audited. The final figures may differ slightly.
Kurt Vandermaesen, new Account Manager at Amplexor
Prior to joining Amplexor, Kurt Vandermaesen was Business Manager for Aubay, in charge of developing Flemish business and overseeing acquisitions. Today, he is strengthening the sales team at Amplexor, as Account Manager. His mission is to generate sales leads, and to support and advise existing clients. Kurt will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Amplexor becomes Belgian Partner of Siruna

Leuven, June 2009 – Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM), had an excellent year in 2008. For the fourth year in a row, the Belgian IT company made a profit. In 2008, it also had a turnover of 4 550 000 EUR and a growth rate of 18%.
UiTinVlaanderen goes live
UiTinVlaanderen (www.UiTinVlaanderen.be) has been relaunched with a new design, more functionalities and an extended offering. UiTinVlaanderen wants to be the reference site for culture and events in Flanders. The aim is to have a least one in four people in Flanders to use and contact the site.
Amplexor becomes the first Belgian Gold Partner of Acquia
Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM), has become Acquia’s first Gold Partner in Belgium. Acquia is a commercial open source software company providing products, services and technical support for Drupal software. The company was founded by Dries Buytaert, who is also the creator of the Drupal project. Drupal is an open source software platform enabling users to build a multitude of websites and web applications, among them sophisticated corporate and community websites, intranets, e-commerce applications, blogs, wikis and social networking sites.
Amplexor develops for the Flemish Parliament a records management system based on Alfresco
Leuven, February 2009 – Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM), has developed for the Flemish Parliament a records management system based on the Alfresco open source ECM system. With this system, all types of records at the Flemish Parliament – whether digital or not – are easily accessible and made available to authorised users.
