Java Developers

Amplexor is looking for several Java Developers for it's web development team.  Good know-how of web and application servers is a must.

Amplexor is seeking passionate, team-oriented and self-motivated Java Developers to help build Java based content management solutions and web applications for our customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining critical applications which help our customers to differentiate themselves.

Job Responsibility

• You develop Java based content management solutions that are used to manage websites, intranets, portals or other content rich web applications.
• You are involved with the gathering of  user requirements and you create preliminary design concepts and draft technical design documents, in close collaboration with the team architects and the client.
• Set-up of test environments and application stress testing
• Set-up of servers and server farms, including optimisation of web and application servers

Profile

• You have a degree in computer sciences and at least 1 of year industry experience
• You are passionate about Java (Certifications are a plus)
• You like working in small teams but are also able to work indepently
• Exceptional problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
• Your mother tongue is Dutch and you have a good working knowledge of English

Technical Requirements

• You have a good  knowledge of Java technologies
• Experience with Java tools/technologies/frameworks/standards (e.g. Eclipse, Hibernate, Spring, JSR-standards, etc.) and software development methods and tools
• You have experience with XML technologies (XSLT, Xpath, DOM and SAX)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and experience with database programming.
• Experience with Java based enterprise content management platforms ( Alfresco, Apache Cocoon, Adobe Day ,  etc.), knowledge of search/classification tools (FAST, Verity, Apache Lucene, etc.) or portal software (BEA Weblogic , IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Liferay,etc.) is a plus
