Document Management Developer/Consultant
Amplexor is now seeking to expand its Document Management team with a passionate, team-oriented and self-motivated Developer or Consultant.
Amplexor is a leading Enterprise Content Management company. We have integrated Documentum and Alfresco in our portfolio, with major success.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining critical applications which help our customers to differentiate themselves. Amplexor builds enterprise-wide content management solutions for the largest companies in Belgium. Here's an excellent opportunity for you to use your talents to help us design, develop, test and maintain quality solutions.
Job Responsibility
- Gather application requirements from users, create preliminary design concepts and draft technical design documents, in close collaboration with other architects and the client.
- Set-up of test environments and application stress testing
- Contribute to the development of the team through collaboration with other developers on code reviews and internal infrastructure and process enhancements.
- Follow-up of the latest developments in the world of Document Management and our product portfolio
Profile
- You have a degree in computer sciences (university degree or equivalent) and 3 years industry experience customized solutions for customers.
- You are passionate about Java (other languages are a plus)
- Knowledge of Document Management, or products like Documentum or Alfresco is a plus
- You like working in small teams, but are able to work on your own.
- Exceptional problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, preferably in English, French and Dutch and you like direct customer contact.
Technical Requirements
- You have an in depth knowledge of Java
- You have an in-depth knowledge of XML technologies (XSLT, Xpath, DOM and SAX)
- Experience with Java or .Net, enterprise content management platforms (Documentum, Alfresco, Apache Cocoon etc.), knowledge of search/classification tools (FAST, Verity, Apache Lucene, etc.) or portal software (BEA Weblogic , IBM WebSphere, JBoss, Liferay,etc.) is a plus
