Software Consultant Content Management (Java or .Net)

Amplexor is seeking passionate, team-oriented and self-motivated software consultants to help build content management solutions for our customers, including management of complex websites, document and workflow management and search solutions.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining critical applications which help our customers to differentiate themselves.

Amplexor builds enterprise-wide content management solutions for the largest companies in Belgium and Holland.

Job Responsibility

  • Gather application requirements from users, create preliminary design concepts and draft technical design documents, in close collaboration with other architects and the client.
  • Implement enterprise information integration platforms or search/retrieval/classification platforms
  • Provide superior technical service and build successful long-term relationships with our clients.
  • Set-up of test environments and application stress testing
  • Maintain suite of existing solutions: implement new feature requests and fix critical bugs.
  • Contribute to the development of the team through collaboration with other developers on code reviews and internal infrastructure and process enhancements.

Profile

  • You have a degree in computer sciences (university degree or equivalent) and 3 years industry experience customized solutions for customers.
  • You like working in small teams, but are able to work on your own.
  • Exceptional problem solving aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, preferably in English, French and Dutch and you like direct customer contact.

Technical Requirements

  • You have an in-depth knowledge of XML technologies (XSLT, Xpath, DOM and SAX)
  • an in-depth knowledge of Java or .Net
  • working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and experience with database programming.
  • Experience with enterprise content management platforms (Documentum, MS CMS, Sharepoint, Tridion, etc.), knowledge of search/classification tools (FAST, Verity, etc.) or portal software (BEA Weblogic etc.) is a plus.
