Luc Peeters heads up Amplexor’s consulting team

Leuven, december 2007 – Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM), has just recruited Luc Peeters as senior consultant. His mission is to develop Amplexor’s consulting business and to ensure it operates smoothly, enabling the company to offer its clients even better services.

To date, Peeters has worked as a freelance consultant, providing strategic advice and managing ECM projects. He has already worked with Amplexor on the implementation of an Enterprise Search Engine (FAST ESP) in the City of Ghent on behalf of Digipolis. Digipolis is responsible for all the telematic services for the cities, as well as the CPAS-OCMW (social services), of Ghent and Antwerp. Peeters specialises in content management, search engines, web audience metrics, portals, knowledge management and collaboration. In 2000, he co-founded Streamcase, a pioneer of Internet video and interactive television. Before that he was a consultant and manager at e-COM, one of Belgium’s first Internet specialists.

According to Eric Pieters, CEO of Amplexor: “Luc has more than 10 years of experience as a consultant and an Internet and e-business entrepreneur. Over the years, he has also worked for public authorities and private enterprises and he has specialised in Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 projects. We are therefore delighted that has he joined our consulting team at Amplexor.”

Luc Peeters, now senior consultant at Amplexor, adds: “In Benelux, Amplexor is the top specialist in ECM and Enterprise Search. I consider the firm’s solid technical expertise in these fields as complementary to my vast experience in the preparation and support of the enterprise processes that are necessary for the success of an ECM implementation.”
