Amplexor opens a second Belgian office in Ghent

The ECM specialist from Leuven will have the use of a second office, located in the city of Ghent’s Uco Tower

Leuven, 25 March 2008 – Amplexor, a specialist in enterprise content management (ECM), is opening its second Belgian office, this time in Ghent. In addition to its headquarters in Holsbeek (Leuven), Amplexor will now be able to call on a second office in Belgium. The new office is situated in the famous Uco Tower in Ghent.

Better services

With this second office, Amplexor plans to provide improved services to its clients in West and East Flanders. Luc Peeters, who joined Amplexor as senior consultant at the end of last year, will manage the new office. Eric Pieters, CEO at Amplexor, says: ”It is important for us to be able to offer good services to our clients in this area of Flanders and, as a result, to the North of France. With a new office in this region, we hope we can respond even better to their needs.” The new office will be based in the well-known Uco Tower in Ghent, a building that is ideally situated next to a road leading to Ghent’s Zuiderpoort. This spot is also very easily accessible, because it lies close to the Ostend-Brussels and Antwerp-Lille motorways.

Recruitment

With the opening of a new establishment, the ECM specialist also plans to hire new staff. Adds Eric Pieters: “Thanks to our presence in Ghent, we also hope to be able to attract new staff members, people who might otherwise be discouraged by the amount of time it would take to travel to Leuven. We will therefore go looking actively for new and motivated IT specialists in the region.”
