KBC chooses AMPLEXOR as its structural partner for IT
13 January 2015
KBC Group, the integrated bancassurance group that caters mainly for retail, SME and local midcap customers, has chosen Enterprise Content Management specialist AMPLEXOR as its structural partner for building and maintaining various KBC websites and web content management systems.
KBC has called on AMPLEXOR to provide expertise on numerous occasions during the past few years. They first collaborated back in 2005, and over the years AMPLEXOR developed a number of websites for the bancassurance group. In 2014, KBC engaged AMPLEXOR once again, this time to build a brand-new website for entrepreneurs.
"KBC has been using our IT services for many years," said Lode Vandermeulen, Sales Manager at AMPLEXOR. "To us, the fact that KBC has chosen us to be its structural partner is recognition for all our past work. Over the next few years, we will provide KBC's IT department with resources and skills for developing web content management platforms in Drupal and Adobe Marketing Cloud."
"AMPLEXOR has always been a reliable, flexible partner for us," Luc Pauwels, CIO Belgium at KBC Bank and Insurance, explained. "We decided to switch to modern digital platforms so that we could fulfill KBC’s ambitions in the digital world, where it interacting and sharing information with customers are crucial. KBC selected Adobe AEM and chose AMPLEXOR as its partner because of its professional approach to developing and maintaining the revamped websites and portals. By collaborating with AMPLEXOR, KBC can also reduce the learning curve for our own employees when it comes to the development, implementation and operation of the new platform.
