AMPLEXOR hosts Office 365 Seminar and reveals Microsoft Ignite’s latest news

AMPLEXOR welcomed at our offices in Leuven, Belgium, on 6 October, 27 excited participants on a free seminar about Office 365 for business.
As a Managed Partner of Microsoft and certified enterprise in the domains of Collaboration and Cloud Productivity, our goals for the session were to showcase Office 365 as one of Microsoft's cloud offering for collaboration, communication and productivity in the digital workplace, giving a hands-on overview of the roadmap to the its full implementation, and presenting some exciting new features unveiled at Microsoft Ignite, which happened in the end of September in Atlanta (USA).
Lode Vandermeulen (Vice President Sales Public & Services) made a short introduction on AMPLEXOR’s Enterprise Content expertise, followed by Tom Vandersmissen (ECM Business Consultant) who continued with the introduction to Office 365, explaining why it is the ideal technology component for creating digital workplaces, collaborative intranets or extranets and portals. Facebook was the chosen case study to demonstrate the value of this unique and integrated combination of collaboration, communication and productivity services, with practical examples on how it allows employees to have secure access to information from any location, on any device, at any time.
Lucie Van Hove (ECM Business Consultant) went more in-depth, clarifying the next steps after subscription - migration, user adoption and further integration -, and how important it is to ensure certified experts’ lead the envisioning, migration, roll-out, customizations and implementations of all aspects of Office 365, including change management and user adoption, in order to valorize the client’s investment.
Yannick Reekmans (Office 365 Consultant) completed the presentations by demonstrating the new Team sites and Office groups, the biggest news from Microsoft Ignite. The Q&A session was quite lively and our speakers were glad to answer several questions from the audience.
The event was a success and we believe interest in Office 365 from business owners is justifiably growing, as it’s an invaluable and comprehensive set of digital tools that offer secure, reliable and up-to-date access to familiar Office applications, but also extensive collaboration possibilities with email, OneDrive, Skype for Business and team sites. In short, it can help any business create a digital workplace and be productive anytime, anywhere.
