AMPLEXOR attends leading linguistics event in Portugal

AMPLEXOR’s language services representatives will attend this year’s edition of the Lisbon Summer School in Linguistics organized by the NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities (FCSH/NOVA), from 3 to 7 July, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The initiative integrates the Pedro Hispano Program developed in 2012 to promote excellence, interdisciplinarity and internationalization of all doctoral programs of FCSH/NOVA, and brings together leading scholars in the field of linguistics, doctoral students and researchers from all around the world.

This year, the program offers ten courses in the areas of psycholinguistics and generative grammar, text and discourse linguistics, terminology and lexicography, and cognitive linguistics with renowned experts from England, Denmark, France and Portugal.

The NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities forms part of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. The university is ranked in the QS Top 50 Under 50, the CWTS Leiden Ranking 2016 and the U-Multirank 2016. It also participates in international networks such as Erasmus+, Yerun, Unica, EUA, Universia and Grupo Tordesillas.
